What is a bachat committee (kameti)?

A bachat committee — also called a kameti, committee, or BC — is a rotating savings group. A fixed group of members each contribute a monthly installment into a shared pool, and the full pooled amount is paid out to one member per month, on a rotating schedule, until everyone has received their payout once. BC Manager digitizes the whole cycle: setup, monthly collection, payout, and reporting.
